Hello, Luceti~ It seems that the New Feather season is upon us again, so I would like to inform new people that they can find temporary accommodations, food, and information on Luceti at the Welcome Center located on the town plaza. We even have this lovely calendar here-- [He turns the camera around to show the large calendar on the Welcome Center wall, holding it there for a moment before putting the journal back.] --for people who would like to advertise and plan events to be held around the town.

For those who find themselves in the woods, don't worry! There are stone structures dotted throughout the forest with maps, provisions, and instructions on how to reach the village and the Center itself.

We all know how hard it is to adjust to such new, strange surroundings, so please don't hesitate to ask for help. That's what we're here for.

Oh, also, on that note, if there is anyone who would like to volunteer their time at the Center, please let me know. I know Aang-kun and Potts-san assist where they can, but we're always looking for more people to help stock the New Feather stations or man the help desk.

Mm....I guess that's about it. Unless you can think of anything.

[His pig snorts from under the desk and Souji laughs.]

[It's such a nice day out that Okita has decided to take the House 50 pets for a walk. Around mid-morning after he finishes his training, Okita can be found wandering around the village with the yellow chocobo Tammy in tow. And on her back? A disgruntled Saizou, wishing he could be down from the heathen bird. Tammy doesn't seem to care since Okita keeps plying her with treats to ensure she follows.

As he walks, he'll open the journal and turn on the video, showing him and the bird in the background.]

I wonder if everyone's in school or if they're on break~?

Are all the New Feathers settled in? If anyone would like a tour around town today, I'll be out with Saizou and Tammy~ Dog, unfortunately, can't take walks. Poor thing. But! That's okay~ He's happy at home. Come say hello! I really want to meet all of you.

[Finally feeling better and able to go out, Okita was having quite a good time seeing everyone else's changes. It wasn't until he woke up this morning and tried to roll out of bed that he noticed something was wrong.

Very wrong.

But, perhaps people wouldn't notice.

Thus, Okita goes about his normal routine. As a woman. He's busy trying to cover that up, however, with a little padding around the waist and by keeping to his usual attire. Particularly attentive people, however, might notice he has a slight bust now and his voice is just a little higher than usual.

People can find him anywhere, from House 50 to the town getting supplies to the Welcome Center or even out on patrols.]

That was certainly a strange time for a New Feather wave! I hope you're all doing well, and that you know the Welcome Center is here to help you. Several people have mentioned it already, but if residents would keep an eye open for the stragglers? There are probably going to be a few of those...

Calling all musicians! Especially Brook-san~

It's come to my attention that many people here enjoy music, but few have had the chance to hear it live. Would any of you be interested in giving a performance so they can? It would be a great opportunity for all the New Feathers to meet people, too, I think.

And with the weather being as it is, an indoor activity would be good, don't you think? A bit of light-hearted entertainment is always good for the soul.

Mm, I suppose making signs would be a good thing to do what with this cold snap running. Would anyone like to help? I'm in the apartments today but I should be heading out in a bit to gather up the wood.

Oh! And Nagakura-san? Enjoy your explorations! I'm glad you're going out for your turn because I think...I've done more than my share for a bit, don't you? [He laughs and suddenly changes gears]

It's almost spring~ I can't wait for it to come. I've always so loved the spring. The plums would be in bloom right about now, the festivals going on up at Tenjin-san, the faintest hint of the flowers' scents mingling in the air... I like the cherry blossoms, too, but there's just something wonderful about plum blossoms. Maybe it's because of a poem I heard once.

Actually, I wonder if this place has cherry trees. Come April, they should bloom, if they do.

What do your people do in the spring? Do they celebrate it at all? We have a great many parties under the trees and share sake and other treats while watching them. Kyoto had such beautiful trees everywhere. It was like the entire city was dressed in clouds of pink and white...

My, but I'm nostalgic today. How silly of me.

[Okita's been in bed for awhile, but he's feeling better now. He's also got his head stuck out the window of his room, looking down at all the new people milling about. He reaches over and opens his journal, surprised to hear so many voices coming out of it, but decides to add his own anyway.]

It sounds like there's some sort of party going on down there with all these new people about. Are they New Feathers? Or something else?

Well, if you are New Feathers and can hear me, feel free to come by the Welcome Center in town. Martel-san? Sasarai-san? I'll be down shortly to help you with this influx.

The ebb and flow of people coming and going is quite interesting, isn't it? I hope everyone is settling in well. The New Feather cycle is almost to an end. If anyone needs anything, the Welcome Center is always open.

[Having discovered Tetsu's disappearance, Okita is out back behind the Welcome Center. He's crouched down with a wooden sword lying next to him, looking at a small garden he's hidden just a bit away from the Center. It has some of the flowers that Sasuke had picked out before he disappeared planted and Okita has just finished raising a little makeshift tent to keep the snow off in case it snows again.]
