Welcome to all of the incoming New Feathers! I just wanted to let them all know that there is a Welcome Center set up for those who do not have friends already within the populace. We provide rooms and meals, information and a listening ear for any and all who wish it.
The center is run by Martel and there are several helpers, so please don't hestitate to stop by even in the early hours of the morning. We're always open and there's always someone on duty to help you grow accustomed to your new home.
[He coughs a few times, turning his face away from the journal so it isn't as loud. He halfway closes the journal and when he turns back around, it seems like he thinks the thing has shut off, meaning people might hear him talk to himself a bit.]
I really need to practice that music Hijiri-kun gave me... Mm...I should do that before I get scolded for being a lazy student.
[And he's off into a different room.]

And yes, music. I'm learning. Or trying to.

[He has to stop and look up the word.]
Violin. Medic-san played it for me once and I've always wanted to try since.
Do you like music, Patchouli-san?

Although until then, I would suggest listening to Brook-san or Hijiri-san. I'd recommend Medic-san, but he's rather prickly to people he doesn't already know.

I really should learn to pay more attention to this thing.
Yes. I'm learning to play an instrument from Hijiri-kun.
no subject
What instrument?
no subject
And I'm learning the violin. Do you know any musical instruments?
no subject
No, I only know how to sing.
no subject
That's a musical instrument, silly. It's sort of like one at least. I'll count it as one.
no subject
O-oh, then I guess I do then!
no subject
[He likes how they're neatly avoiding the awkwardness of the past event. 8D]
Maybe one day I will learn to play a song you can sing.
