Nagakura-san! Nagakura-saaaaan~ Do you know how to play a musical instrument? We're going to be stuck indoors a lot what with all this snow. Let's learn to play one~
Which leads me to this question for everyone: I'm fascinated by your different types of music. Would anyone be willing to teach me something? Or even just tell me about music in your country.
I like festival music. It's so cheery.
As an aside, Heavy-san? Thank you for your help at the Center lately. It's very kind of you.
[He pauses for a moment and then claps his hands together as if remembering something]
Ah! And Sonic-san? I owe you my thanks for earlier. Is there anything I can do to repay your kindness?

Not that it worked, and I don't really like a lot of the songs I had to learn. They're those wimpy little songs that sound like they're crying about something. I like festival music a lot more too, what I hear of it. I like Fire Nation festival music a lot, now that it's coming back more. They use fireworks in it!

And you must be new. I don't think I've seen you around before. What's your name? Where is the Fire Nation?
no subject
[Toph doesn't actually know what it looks like, but she describes this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erhu) physically.]
And yes, I'm new around here. Name's Toph. The Fire Nation is really a bunch of islands, but they're also a nation of people who firebend. Not all of them, but a bunch of them. That's why they're called the Fire Nation. Me, I'm from the Earth Kingdom.

I myself enjoy all kinds of melodies! From the sweetness of a ballad to the stirring nature of jazz, I love it all!

And what is jazz?
no subject
Ah, you favor difficult questions, I see! [He loves talking about music, though] It's surprisingly difficult to define jazz, as it's interpretation is left to the musician's taste. It is a very sontaneous thing, even when orchestrated!
