[It's such a nice day out that Okita has decided to take the House 50 pets for a walk. Around mid-morning after he finishes his training, Okita can be found wandering around the village with the yellow chocobo Tammy in tow. And on her back? A disgruntled Saizou, wishing he could be down from the heathen bird. Tammy doesn't seem to care since Okita keeps plying her with treats to ensure she follows.

As he walks, he'll open the journal and turn on the video, showing him and the bird in the background.]

It's such a nice day out~

I wonder if everyone's in school or if they're on break~?

Are all the New Feathers settled in? If anyone would like a tour around town today, I'll be out with Saizou and Tammy~ Dog, unfortunately, can't take walks. Poor thing. But! That's okay~ He's happy at home. Come say hello! I really want to meet all of you.

I thought perhaps we could do with some pigs or chickens, but if you intend to take all the animals for walks I might reconsider the idea.

If taking her out now makes her more willing to stay there later, then I think it's an excellent idea.

Oh, it probably will. Animals just don't like to be cooped up forever.

Quite a bit like people, really.

Hm, though animals often have the sense to stay under shelter when they aren't feeling well and the weather is terrible.

Maybe some animals and people just want to experience everything while they can.

Except that going out and "experiencing" things while you're sick and it's snowing outside will make it more difficult to experience anything else, since you'll just get sicker.

Hm. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

I suppose there's a good reason we keep Tammy's pen latched, isn't there?

Oh, yes. If she got out much more than she already did, she might never come home.

Oh! I met someone who knows what she is, actually. She taught me a lot about Tammy.

Well, she told me about how to feed her better and what she's called and what they do. Apparently you can ride her!

[The pig grunts and whines, wanting to be let down.]

He apparently doesn't like having rides.

Ride? Like a horse?

[She is pretty big, for a bird, but seems like she'd be kind of awkward to ride. Especially if one isn't a small, often-tormented pig.]

Maybe you should let him down, Okita-san. If he gets upset he's likely to take it out on some poor unsuspecting person.

Yes! Apparently. She's still just a baby, though, so I suppose it's when she's older.

Oh and he'll be fine. He just has to get used to it.

[Saizou huffs, giving up on asking his master for help anymore.]

How much bigger can she be expected to get?

[That's a pretty big baby there.]

I suppose you're the one who's willing to sleep in the same room as your pig, Okita-san. It's up to you to make him angry.

[Again Saizou huffs.]

Haha, he's not really angry so much as put out. He might bite at me a few times tonight, but that's nothing new.

That poor pig. Sometimes I wonder why he puts up with you.

[Oh look, she's teasing. A little, at least. Riding on a giant bird has to be better than joining the pigs meant for dinner.]

Because I feed him scraps from the leftovers, let him sleep inside, and keep him safe.

[After a brief pause, Saizou grunts.]

That or maybe he just likes me~

[And back to huffing.]

Hm, or that.

I'd thought to ask you to stop and pick up something for dinner, but I suppose your menagerie wouldn't do well at the store.

Oh! We can go. Tammy and Saizou can wait outside and they should be fine.

Or Tammy might decide to wander off, or Saizou might attack a poor random passerby....

I have my methods.

And Saizou would not. He's a very good pig.

And yet it's so very simple to provoke him. I'm not certain the risk is worth it.
