Well... that'll teach me to lose my journal. You would think I'd have kept better track of it, but it looks so much like all the other books I had lying about. I really should return some of those. [He pauses for a bit as if looking around the room.] Oh well.

Looking back on what you've all done, you've certainly been busy! And now, at least, I know where the music has been coming from. More of you need to dance. It's so cute.

[After a short silence, he gets up, dusts himself off, grabs the piglet with the hardhat on and sets it in front of Susumu. He smiles, takes the other one, and heads toward the door.]

Since the puppy isn't here to keep you company, maybe he can.

[He pauses by the door.]

[Susumu glances down at the stuffed pig, then looks up at Okita over by the door, unmoving. He won't touch the pig or cuddle the pig or sleep with the pig or anything ridiculous like that. He's not a child. He doesn't need company, and he sure as hell doesn't need stuffed animals.

But he needs Okita to come back alive.
