[Things have been difficult for him lately and he's been avoiding "certain people" with a vengeance, but there is always one thing that he knows can cheer him up.

Souji opens his journal one day and with as bright and cheerful a voice as he can muster (which is kind of like rainbows barfing sunshine) he says:]

So who here is being a grumpy grump after the holidays? I know you're out there~

I've heard of at least two: the one with the spiky hair who hates being asked about it and the one with the skirt who hates it being called a skirt.

There have to be more, aren't there? [He degrades into what sounds like baby talk.] So who's being a grumpy-wumpy bear, hm?

I'm pretty sure she does. But all I can really do for them to try and drop hints so they talk it out between themselves.

True. And poke the grumpy bear until he gets it. That helps too.

I'll be sure to do that whenever I'm able to get home. Though for now, I'll poke a few grumpy bears here. Namely a guy I met whose name I think is Vegeta?

Oh! That's the Spiky Porcupine Grumpy Bear! He's a lot of fun to poke. He threatened to rip me in half!

[And he sounds so happy about it]

[He is from a magical girl series, sooo.]

He just called me annoying and said he'd rather not have to kiss me again.

[MAGICAL GIRLS. actually no, i loved his series so]

Oh woooow, you kissed him? What was it like? Was it angry? He seems the sort to make anything angry.

[He's going to sound amused and smile, even if Souji can't see it.]

It was hilarious and he was quite angry about it afterwards.

I knew it. I think he might live off anger.

Do you think he'd deflate like a paper balloon if we took his anger away?

I'll give it a try and see what happens if you'd like.

Can I watch? Sometimes there's a vein on their foreheads that pops out when they're just mad enough and I find it hilarious.

Excellent, we'll tag team him! I'll try to get him to rip me in half and you distract him. While he's stunned, we can compliment his hair and run away.
