[Despite being gone for weeks and just now showing up again, Okita doesn't seem all that worried. In fact, he's out making snowmen in the middle of the town square despite the hour and the snowfall. After making one or two small snowpeople and a small snow fort, he picks up his journal to announce his return.]

It seems I'm back now. The snow is nice.

Does anyone know how much time has passed? I suppose Ayumu-san will scold me. Let's not tell her right away, hm?

The snow is nice. We never got this much in Kyoto.

Oh! And you can always make snow people! And cool snow forts.

[Right now, most sarcasm is just going to breeze on by.]

Oh, definitely. Snow people and cool snow forts was our number one priority. After all, meat just fell out of the sky to keep us fed.

If only it did, right? Even if it worries me here where the food comes from. They might be poisoning us and we don't even know it.

Yeah... I've had this conversation a few times. They could poison the water if they wanted to. Or the air. Not much we can do about it.

[He's not pleased about this constant avoiding certain issues thing. Not cool.]

Well. It's January. So tentatively? It's going to keep snowing.

[Sokka, do you honestly expect him to talk about it that openly where everyone can hear? I do not think so, silly boy.]

Great! That means I can still make more snow people! You should come out and help me. Unless you're too busy working.

[ANOTHER TIME THEN!! Except crap, he has a mission soon.]
