[Well, that's odd, but if the journal says this is his new career, then so be it. Still!TinySouji will be wandering around with a normal chicken on a child harness leash. Talking to it. Like it's normal. Listening to its chickeny problems. also:]

[Soujirou sighs and the chicken gets up, fluffing itself up and clucking before trying to wander off toward the trees. It gets partway there before the leash catches and then the bird starts making a lazy circle around them.]

....Perhaps it was unwise to listen to the journal and get a chicken. ...but abandoning it now would be rude.

...I found it alone on the farms. No one was there and the animals seem to be left to fend for themselves.

Well, you see people do it on TV all the time, and any idiot can train a dog, so how hard can it be?

A... little, I guess. I taught him about walking around with people and generally which rooms to stick to in the house.

[Yeah, that's more than this chicken can do. Admittedly, Okita just went to the farm and stole it that morning, but still. Chicken is not that smart.]

....I wonder if this one will ever learn that.
