Well...at least I can move the mask to the side. How is everyone else doing with their costumes? Isn't the town interesting? I've never seen anything like it! It's so strange~

[Souji is dressed like this with a mask like the ones to the right, but moved to the side so it doesn't cover his face. He doesn't like his costume at all. It brings back bad memories. But taking it off did nothing and he hates just sitting in his room all day.

If people are out and about, he can be found just about anywhere in town looking at the decorations, poking at the buildings, or taking Saizou for a walk. Eventually, he'll end up back at House 50 with Saizou in tow so he can feed the little piglet before the pig decides to eat someone.]

[Giles is on his way back to his apartment when he spots Okita around. And Saizou. So forgive him if he approaches with caution. Also, he happens to be dressed like this and he's still not happy about it]

[Ninetails, who remained happily unaffected by the sudden change in atmosphere, was skulking around the town, scouting out the new area. The new and abundant shadows provided prime places to hide out in, even with her hulking size.

However, her head perks right up when she sees a...human? Yes, a human wearing a mask very similar to her own. Her teeth bare into a twisted kind of grin, and she speaks from the shadows.]

My, what a peculiar outfit you bear, human. And such a mask... Do be careful, now, some might mistake you for a demon.

[Ramirez is entirely out of luck today, it seems. He has been stuck on the front porch to House 21 for about the past ten minutes, trying to find a way to evade being forced into yet another costume, but every attempt he's tried has ended in utter failure.

As it stands, he is too busy FROWNING DEEPLY at his new outerwear to pay Souji or that demon pig of his any mind.

Actually, his costume isn't that bad at all.

Okita comes back, letting Saizou into the house first, then he comes in, leaving his shoes at the door. The first thing he sees? Is Hijikata. The first thing Hijikata might see? Souji doubling over, trying not to laugh too loudly.]

[Okita is going about his business and that business is poking a Jack o' lantern with a stick right now. He's not sure what they are, but he likes the faces. He thought they might come to life, but sadly, they do not. It takes a bit, but he finally notices the shadow on the ground during a patch of sunlight and looks up.]
