The children's home... How badly was it hit?

From intelligence reports, it was at the edge of the collapsed tunnels. I'm on my way now to confirm how badly it was damaged.

I'm near the clinic.

At least twenty-four houses have been leveled; four of the community buildings fell, and six of the plaza shops. Damage spreads to all areas of the western side of the village. Damage in the east is minimal. The southern houses were unaffected.

Good. Stay there and help the others. We'll be bringing any injured parties to you.

We'll need to find accommodation later - our building was destroyed. I'm on my way to number 7 now. Be ready in case the children are injured.

I recommend relocating to the fifth community building. It was undamaged by the quake, and is close to the barracks in case we're needed.

How is the damage looking? Are they relatively safe or do you need assistance digging anyone out?

It's not as bad as some other places are. [ Which is his way of saying it's not as good as a lot of places, either. ] I don't think anyone's gonna be staying here for a while, though.

And I don't know if anyone's stuck yet, but digging is better than not.

I'm not really- I don't think anyone's exactly in charge around here.

Have you heard any cries for help? Or have any idea where to start digging?

Well- [ Movin' some rubble. ] I'm digging here because someone dug themselves out around the same place. And I haven't heard anyone yelling, but maybe they're too far down?

I'll head to Building 7 right away.

[And shortly thereafter, Regal will come jogging up to Building 7-- or rather, what's left of it.]

[Okita is standing in front of the rubble, somewhat at a loss for what to do. He's dirty, his clothes are slightly torn in places and while he's pushed some of the broken bits of plaster and rock away, it hasn't made much of a dent.]

[Regal's first instinct is just to start digging, but logic wins out and he holds off for the moment.]

Have you heard any signs of life in the rubble? Any cries for help?

[He shakes his head slightly and then begins digging again.]

But that doesn't mean they aren't down there.

Yes, but our work would be far easier if we knew where to begin.

[He'll start digging as well, carefully so as to avoid accidentally dislodging anything and causing the debris to shift.]
